How Could CBD Help You?

Mood

Cannabidiol could increase your body’s regulation of its own serotonin – AKA the chemical responsible for our happiness! Take at least one serving of CBD a day and see a change in your mood after one week, and then, one month; you’ll notice the difference.

Pain

CBD can play a role in the vanilloid receptors in our body, responsible for regulating inflammation and body temperature. This, among other receptors CBD interacts with, can help mitigate pain symptoms, inflammatory conditions, and more.

Sleep

Get deeper, better sleep by taking cannabidiol daily to regulate your body’s adenosine receptors. When adenosine receptors activate routinely and more efficiently thanks to CBD, the body is able to relax easier and sleep longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in both hemp and marijuana. It’s found more abundantly in hemp strains as opposed to most marijuana strains, and only hemp-derived CBD is legal in the United States.

Will your CBD products get me high?

No, they will not. All our partner’s products are tested through independent, third party labs to verify that they contain less than 0.3% THC and that they’re strictly derived from hemp.

What are the effects of CBD?

Though CBD doesn’t get you high, it has a massive variety of medicinal properties that can provide a range of effects. Interacting with the CB1 and CB2 receptors that make up our endocannabinoid system, studies indicate that CBD might be able to help with anxiety, trouble sleeping, appetite loss, inflammation, depression, and much more.

Is using CBD legal in my state?

Though our CBD products are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, there are 17 states that have specific laws for or against CBD, which you can see here.

While federal law does indicate CBD and other hemp-derived products should be legal with industrial hemp through the Farm Bill, Washington, D.C. and all 50 states have individual laws regarding the matter. You can see a state-by-state breakdown of where CBD is legal in the US here if you want to make sure your state is good to go.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

THC and CBD are both compounds that can interact with the endocannabinoid system in the human body. However, only THC interacts directly with this system. For many years, researchers believed CBD responded the same way, though they did not know why it provided the opposite effect that THC does.

We now know that instead of interacting directly, CBD allows other receptors and systems in the body to respond better and more efficiently. The dopamine receptor, for example, can produce natural dopamine better after introducing CBD into your daily routine. Instead of pushing more dopamine in your body, CBD just helps your body naturally produce more of it.

How long does it take CBD to work?

While there’s not such an easy answer for this one, we always recommend trying CBD out daily for at least one month before deciding if it’s not right for you. A daily serving of CBD will stimulate your endocannabinoid system more over time, allowing your body to regulate its body systems in a faster and more efficient manner.

Will I fail a drug test if I use CBD?

As the industry is heavily unregulated, inconsistent batch testing can result in over the 0.3% legal limit of THC. While this is typically the only way we’ve seen someone fail a drug test (which is why we always ensure all our partners test every batch of product), you could potentially fail a drug test with legal CBD if you’re using too much of it daily.

Pay attention to the serving size featured somewhere on the label – going too far over that serving size can add up the amount of THC in your system over time, even though it’s too negligible an amount to get you high.

Still, have questions? Please feel free to reach out to us at any time and we’ll be happy to respond within one business day! We want to guide you down a healthful path, so one of our experts will get back to you as soon as possible.
